Environmental Chemistry

Environmental chemistry test is necessary to trace the path of chemical from inflow of chemical substance from environment until it reaches organism, and the path of exposed chemical until it has internal toxicity action. Our team established the test method for physicochemical property test, environmental kinetics and metabolic test, and conduct test for the domestic and overseas registration of new matter and existing chemicals under the GLP system settled by the guidelines of advanced countries such as OECD, US, EU, Japan etc.

Field of Test

Environmental Kinetics and Metabolism

We conduct tests to trace the environmental kinetics and metabolism of chemicals such as resolvability, mobility, accumulatise by various environmental conditions(soil, water, source of light, microorganism etc.) based on laboratory and outdoor test. The test is mandatory for the re-registration of existing agricultural pesticide and registration of new agricultural pesticide. Also, we conduct bioaccumulation test, soil metabolic test using radioactive isotope.

Physicochemical Property Analysis

The analysis measures the physical, chemical property of chemical substance and our team possess the latest technology and device. We conduct tests for water solubility, vapor pressure and octanol/water partition coefficient, and these items are significant factors on deciding the behavior and distribution of chemical in the environment.

Residue Analysis

We conduct residue test in soil, crop and water that is mandatory to predict the direct influence of chemicals from polluted crop, soil and water on human and environmental organism.

Other Services

There is a need for systematic effort to minimize the chemical damages in advance by assessing the risk of existing and newly developed chemicals that might be effused to environment on human body and environmental organism. To assess the safety, the toxicity and possibility of exposure to human body and environmental organism must be reviewed fundamentally, and the credible data to back this must be prepared.
