Korea Institute of Toxicology has secured public safety by globalization of domestic GLP toxicology test and conducted the leading role in the development of biopharmaceutical industry, manpower training and improving the national safety and comfort regarding the biochemical substance since its foundation in 2002.

Also, based on the global toxicology test capacity, we lead the development of source technology for the next generation toxicity assessment, expand the chemical toxicology research for the public safety, develop test technology to support national industry innovation growth, innovate the infrastructure to take the lead for the growth of national industry.

It is hard to predict the changes of future environment, and the new environment might have hidden and complicated safety·risk factors. We will do our best to preemptively respond to the safety·risk issues of the public society.
