Department of Predictive Toxicology plays a leading role in development of alternative toxicological technologies to develop the state-of-the-art technology in toxicity prediction for original drugs and chemical substances Department of Predictive Toxicology contributes to non-clinical research development of advanced predictive and alternative toxicity evaluation through the variety of productive researches, such as development of human embryonic stem cell-derived target organ (liver, heart, nerve) differentiation technology based on advanced biotechnology, research on expression of toxic gene using NGS (Next Generation Sequencer) method, research on molecular imaging, research on electrical biosignal measurement, development of Organoid by tissue engineering, research on brain diseases, zebra fish model development for toxicity evaluation, and research on combining bioinformatics and toxicoinformatics.
